Test Your
Continuity Plan

PlanProof designs realistic BCM tabletop exercises and crisis simulations for organizations — ISO 22301 and NCEMA 7000:2021 aligned, built either from a short profile of your organization, or from a direct review of your existing BCM plan.

How it works

Six steps from your first message to your re-test. You stay in control of the scenario; we do the design, the facilitation and the report.

    You

    Tell us

Answer a short intake about your organization, or share your continuity plan for review.

One expert-led exercise, three durations

Every PlanProof exercise is designed for you and run by our facilitator. Choose the duration that matches the scope of what you want to test.

Need a longer session? We also design 150- and 180-minute exercises, for example a half-day exercise across several sites or agencies.

Every duration includes

  • A scenario designed for your organization and your real risks
  • Your review of the scenario before the day, revised until it is right
  • The live, timed exercise, run by our facilitator
  • A structured debrief at the end of the session
  • A bilingual English and Arabic report with a readiness score, within 3 working days

Every exercise can be built either from a short intake about your organization, or from a direct review of your existing continuity plan.

See a real exercise unfold

This is what a client's team actually experiences — a simulated breaking-news alert, followed by a live, timed exercise with real decision points.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose PlanProof?

PlanProof designs realistic, high-pressure exercises built on ISO 22301 and NCEMA 7000:2021 and shaped by real incidents in the region. Every exercise is designed for your organization and reviewed by you before the day. Our facilitator runs it live with your team, supported by our own exercise technology, and a bilingual English and Arabic report with a readiness score follows within 3 working days. We then re-test against your actions, so you can show your board and auditors real progress. One service, from scenario design to findings, re-testing and improvement.

What is a business continuity tabletop exercise?

A tabletop exercise is a facilitated, discussion-based session in which your team works through a realistic disruption scenario. Timed injects — new developments such as a system outage, a media inquiry or a regulatory question — test how your plans, roles and decisions hold up, without disrupting live operations.

Do your exercises support ISO 22301 and NCEMA 7000:2021?

Yes. Both standards expect organizations to exercise and test their business continuity arrangements. Our scenarios are designed around those requirements, and the debrief report records findings and actions you can use as evidence of exercising. An exercise supports compliance; it does not by itself certify it.

How long does an exercise take?

Most exercises run 60, 90 or 120 minutes, including a structured debrief at the end. For larger or multi-site exercises we also design longer sessions of 150 or 180 minutes. You choose the duration in your request, and the number and pace of injects is designed to fit it.

Who should take part?

The people who would make or carry out decisions in a real incident — typically executive leadership, operations, IT, communications, HR, legal and compliance, plus any department central to the scenario. You select the participating departments in the request form.

How quickly can we get started?

Once we have confirmed the details with you, your initial scenario is ready for your review within 5 working days. We then agree the exercise date with you.

How often should we test our plans?

Both ISO 22301 and NCEMA 7000:2021 expect exercises at planned intervals and after significant changes. Most organizations test their different plans at least once a year, and many run several tabletop exercises a year, each testing a different scenario. It is also good practice to exercise again after a significant change, such as a new site, a new system, an updated plan or a restructure.

Can the exercise run in Arabic?

Yes. Exercises can run fully in Arabic on request; please allow about four weeks from booking for your first Arabic exercise. Whichever language the exercise runs in, your report is always delivered in both English and Arabic.

What happens after we send a request?

We contact you to confirm the details, then design your scenario and send it to you to review. Once you are happy with it, we agree the date, our facilitator runs the live exercise with your team, and your bilingual scored report follows within 3 working days.

What do we receive at the end?

A report in English and Arabic, within 3 working days of the exercise: a readiness score, what was tested, key findings and concrete actions, each tied to what actually happened in the exercise and mapped to ISO 22301 and NCEMA 7000:2021.

How much does an exercise cost?

The price depends on the duration, the number of departments and sites, and whether the exercise is built from your own plan. Please contact us for details and we’ll send you a proposal.

Is the information we share kept confidential?

Yes. Details and plans are reviewed directly, one-to-one, and are never published. Please remove information that isn't essential, such as staff names or exact financial figures. A mutual NDA is available on request.
